These last few days have been crazy, but the Lord has been good as well. He has blessed me with really great friends, family, and creative talents. 2009 is looking to be a GREAT year for me as an individual, me as an CEO of A-State Universal Enterprises(ASUE), and me as an mentor for others.

A-State Universal Enterprises is currently divided into 5 division: 1) Music-ASUMG, 2) Book Publishing-Dazzle Publishings, 3)Modeling/Photography, 4)Graphic Designs-ASUE Designs, & 5)Clothing Line-(pending and being shopped).

1. ASUMG-currently houses 1 main artist who goes by the name of Jacy, a 20 year old R&B artist from Little Rock AR, who will by the end of 2009 will have a demo CD, be featured on at least 10 artists tracks WORLDWIDE, AND hopefully be in negotiations of a indie/major record deal. Also we are going to furthur break down this division into hopefully 2 others; artist management/development and marketing/promotions.

2. Dazzle Publishings-after having turned down a 5-book co-deal on the table from a poetry publisher, Ive decided to form my own independent publishing house. Now with the help of my GREAT mentor, Dee Stewart http://www.deestewart.com, I hope to achieve a great level of success. My goal for 2009 is to finally see my anthology "Bearing Our Souls" in print and in bookstores across the US. Also, maybe have a few authors of my own under my company.

3. Modeling/Photography-with things getting sidetracked and off schedule, this division is slowly building its brand. Tamara "T.Good" Goodwin, http://www.tgood.net, is the best model we have come to rely through its early stages. The initial plan was to release a calendar in 2009 for a local charity called the Dorcas House-battered womens & childrens shelter. So we moved the calendar to 2010 so it gives us time to FULLY create the theme we were aiming for. Currently we have 20 models and our photography portfolio is constantly growing. From weddings to comp cards to local events around the state and world.

4. ASUE Designs-this division currently houses 3 graphic artists that have done everything from flyers for college parties, major artists performances, mixtape covers, modeling events, and promo flyers. We are always looking for new talent to bring abroad and help them showcase their talent. 2009 is the year were things hopefully showcase the TRUE art of the brand.

5. Clothing Line-with over 100 designs and "officially" been around since 2005 the clothing line hopefully will see the light of day in 2010. The brand been shopped for over the last 2-3 years with a few offers, but money isnt everything IF you dont have control over what and how things are created and ran. Hopefully by the summer of 2009, we will have promo shirts that will be sent to a few clients to wear and promo in their region...mostly street team members and people who are affiliated with the company as a whole.
