I wanted to say that this summer is going to be a REAL TREAT! ASUE has put itself into a real challenge for a charitable cause. ASUE picked Dorcas House(Union Rescue Mission), http://www.urmission.org/, as our charity for the summer! Our goal is to raise $5,000 for various projects they are trying to achieve. We hope with the money, we are able to get the teenagers up-to-date computers, tutors, money for events, and the bare necessities!
We start our fundraising as of May 1, 2009. We broke the initial amount down at basically we are going to try and raise money day-by-day! We are looking at $41/day for 120+ days.
We have gotten alot of donations and stuff wholesale to sell you people, PLUS we are looking to host a silent auction with some really cool things from photo shoots, dinners, gift cards, recording studio time, etc. More to come about that soon!

Summer Time Is Approaching pt. 1
Hey bloggers,
Just wanted to let you know that there are various events going on this summer for ASUE. We are currently expanding our affiliates and networking strategies to overseas markets. Now with that said, its taking major time!
Well...we jumped on TWITTER, but still exploring that avenue. hopefully we can get twitter popping and our goal is 500 people before the end of the summer.
As far as the music...we are currently in production of 3-5 mixtapes; in which 3 will HOPEFULLY DROP this summer! Some will be hosted by various DJs including SEA DOTY DJ SouthernBelle along with others!
Everything else is good thus far...more to come soon!

Spring Break Bash
Hey bloggers,
Just giving an weekly update on everything we are doing. Most of you know that THIS FRIDAY is the Power 92 Official Spring Break Bash where Chamillionaire will be performing along with others at the Clear Channel Metroplex.
ASUE's proud sponsor S&K Wings is also sponsoring this event. There located at 5504 JFK Blvd North Little Rock, AR.
In other news, ASUMG is currently in negotiations with a new R&B artist; name will be released at a later date. If signed, we have already have collaborations with former B2K frontman Omarion as well as a few other special surprise guests.
Until the hands meet the keys...

Current Operations
Hey bloggers...currently SUPER LATE for an engagement, BUT Im gonna get things rolling real quick.
First...ALL LEGAL MATTERS WILL BE RESOLVED BY AUGUST! What this means that I will officially have all 7 businesses licenses and operational and priming them for the explosive 2010 year. We currently have many projects in gear and now are looking for others with the same motivation and values to team up with us on this journey to stardom!
Also, R&B artist Jacy will be in the studio finishing up her demo by late March/early April and will be rotated into the R&B mixtape circuit by June. Also we are shopping her demo...more to come on that later.
Finally ASUE Radio, http://asueradio.blogspot.com/, is up-and-running. We are officially back on air and coming HARD! We will be having guests from ALL ranges of professions in the entertainment industry dropping knowledge...stay tuned, you dont wanna miss that!

Current Events
Hey bloggers,
These last few days have been crazy, but the Lord has been good as well. He has blessed me with really great friends, family, and creative talents. 2009 is looking to be a GREAT year for me as an individual, me as an CEO of A-State Universal Enterprises(ASUE), and me as an mentor for others.
A-State Universal Enterprises is currently divided into 5 division: 1) Music-ASUMG, 2) Book Publishing-Dazzle Publishings, 3)Modeling/Photography, 4)Graphic Designs-ASUE Designs, & 5)Clothing Line-(pending and being shopped).
1. ASUMG-currently houses 1 main artist who goes by the name of Jacy, a 20 year old R&B artist from Little Rock AR, who will by the end of 2009 will have a demo CD, be featured on at least 10 artists tracks WORLDWIDE, AND hopefully be in negotiations of a indie/major record deal. Also we are going to furthur break down this division into hopefully 2 others; artist management/development and marketing/promotions.
2. Dazzle Publishings-after having turned down a 5-book co-deal on the table from a poetry publisher, Ive decided to form my own independent publishing house. Now with the help of my GREAT mentor, Dee Stewart http://www.deestewart.com, I hope to achieve a great level of success. My goal for 2009 is to finally see my anthology "Bearing Our Souls" in print and in bookstores across the US. Also, maybe have a few authors of my own under my company.
3. Modeling/Photography-with things getting sidetracked and off schedule, this division is slowly building its brand. Tamara "T.Good" Goodwin, http://www.tgood.net, is the best model we have come to rely through its early stages. The initial plan was to release a calendar in 2009 for a local charity called the Dorcas House-battered womens & childrens shelter. So we moved the calendar to 2010 so it gives us time to FULLY create the theme we were aiming for. Currently we have 20 models and our photography portfolio is constantly growing. From weddings to comp cards to local events around the state and world.
4. ASUE Designs-this division currently houses 3 graphic artists that have done everything from flyers for college parties, major artists performances, mixtape covers, modeling events, and promo flyers. We are always looking for new talent to bring abroad and help them showcase their talent. 2009 is the year were things hopefully showcase the TRUE art of the brand.
5. Clothing Line-with over 100 designs and "officially" been around since 2005 the clothing line hopefully will see the light of day in 2010. The brand been shopped for over the last 2-3 years with a few offers, but money isnt everything IF you dont have control over what and how things are created and ran. Hopefully by the summer of 2009, we will have promo shirts that will be sent to a few clients to wear and promo in their region...mostly street team members and people who are affiliated with the company as a whole.
